Running a small business means my phone never stops buzzing, and lately I’ve been thinking about setting up a WhatsApp Business account. The thing is, I’m hesitant to put my real number out there for everyone to see. I keep hearing about using virtual numbers for online calling and texting, but I’m not sure if it’s really safe or if WhatsApp allows you to register with VoIP numbers. Has anyone here tried setting up WhatsApp Business this way? I was in the same situation and decided to try it out with my business WhatsApp account. Setting it up with a virtual number was straightforward, and honestly, it’s been great for keeping my personal and work contacts separate. Calls and texts come through like normal, and customers have no idea it’s not my real number. Plus, being able to handle everything from my computer has saved me a ton of time. Just double-check that the number supports WhatsApp and you’ll be set.
