Why is there no anti-cheat in cs2 like in valorant
I really don’t understand why Valve have decided to not invest in a good anti cheat system. I swear to god if I play premier I get a hacker in either my team or in the enemy team, I always review the game after to check and people with $300+ inventories are staring through the walls blatantly and seem confident they won’t get banned. Games in 8k premier ranking feel harder than faceit level 7+ with the only difference being that faceit have an anti-cheat system which is much better than VAC (I’m sure people still hack on faceit, but its so much rarer).

I’ve played faceit and premier, and I’ve also noticed that faceit matches are cleaner, not because they don’t use anything, but rather because of the clearer verification system. I have friends who play Valorant, and they’ve noticed that if anyone uses a valorant hack, it’s usually for customization or experimentation. It’s just that every game has its own approach, and it would be interesting to see how Valve adapts.
